Leading SAFe
From this two-day course, participants acquire the knowledge required to lead a Lean-Agile enterprise by using the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and its underlying principles that marry Lean, systems thinking, Agile development, product development flow, and DevOps.
The course provides:
- Insights into mastering Business Agility in order to thrive in the competitive market.
- Discuss how to establish team and technical agility and organize and re-organize around the flow of value.
- Learn and practice the skills for supporting and executing Program Increment (PI) planning events and coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- Explore the importance of adopting a customer-centric mindset and a design thinking approach.
- Develop an understanding for implementing a Lean Portfolio Management function.
Attending the class prepares participants to take the exam and become a certified SAFe® Agilist (SA). Exam included.
SAFe for Teams
From this two-day course participants learn the practices needed to become a high-performing team member of an Agile Release Train (ART) and learn how to collaborate with other teams.
Attendees will:
- Understand Agile Release Trains and how they deliver value.
- What they can do to effectively perform their role using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
- Learn to break down features, write stories and plan and execute sprints, and plan Program Increments.
- Understand the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture,
- Techniques to integrate with other teams on the ART, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.
Attending the class prepares participants to take the exam and become a certified SAFe® Practitioner (SP).
SAFe Scrum Master
From this two-day course, attendees will understand the role of a Scrum Master in a SAFe enterprise. The SAFe Scrum Master course explores the role of the Scrum Master in the context of an enterprise, and prepares attendees to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI).
Attendees will:
- Learn the key components of Agile at scale development, how Scrum is facilitated throughout the enterprise, and how to execute Iteration Planning.
- Discover how to build high performing Agile teams by becoming a servant leader and coach.
- How to coach teams to deliver the maximum business value at scale.
Attending the class prepares participants to take the exam and become a certified SAFe® Scrum Master.
SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager
From this two-day course, attendees will develop the skills needed to guide the delivery of value in a Lean enterprise. Participants gain an in-depth understanding of how to effectively perform their role in the Agile Release Train (ART) as it delivers value through Program Increments.
Attendees will:
- Explore how to apply lean thinking to decompose epics into features and stories.
- Learn to refine features and stories, manage train and team backlogs, and to plan and execute Iterations and Program Increments.
- Discover how the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture contribute to the relentless improvement of the ART.
